One of the nicest features about this tote is the adjustable strap length. You can have one long length – or shorten its length by turning it into a dual strap. Pretty nifty

This tote was inspired by a pattern by Indygo Junction called “Grids & Grommets” (#IJ805)
This is such a cute purse. The exterior is made up of a Funky Sock Monkey fabrics – complemented by a wonderful patchwork of red, green, yellow and orange polka-dot fabrics by Moda. The interior of the bag is made up of a bright and yellow backdrop set with floating bananas.

The pattern for this ruffled skirt purse was inspired by the “Jessie Bag” – available at Busy Bee Quilt Designs.
The fabric for this tote was made from some leftover scrap fabric purchased at Portland’s Fabric Depot. I can’t locate the name of the fabric or the designer (embarrassed…I accidentally cut off the selvage on the fabric, so the name isn’t known) – but it was from a coffee-themed fabric. Very bold and colorful patterns, filled with swirls and seemed to be a perfect match for this very pattern.
One particular feature that I really like about this bag is the little glittery rhinestones that I placed on the bag. You can’t see them in the photographs really well, but you might be able to make them out if you zoom in close enough. They add just enough sparkle and elegance to make the bag a little on the dressier side.

I recently quilted this adorable tote, based upon a reversible tote pattern by Lisa Lam, whose blog I absolutely love, called the U-Handbag Blog. Her book is called The Bag Making Bible. Check it out here.
In this tote, I strip-quilted some lovely coordinating pink and red fabrics. This ensemble of fabrics set off very nicely against Peanuts licensed fabric. This tote is currently up for sale on my ebay site.
