Red, White and Black Polka Dots & Plaid – and Lots of Buttons
This quilted purse has two cherry stained dowels, which finishes this bag beautifully. I loved making this purse – and especially enjoyed embellishing it with costume pearl earrings and old buttons.

This strip-quilted drawstring tote was made from a Jelly Roll of Moda Fabrics. It features an interior pocket and very roomy interior.
It also features a very comfortable padded strap that lends itself to a variety of ways you can wear this purse.

It also features a very comfortable padded strap that lends itself to a variety of ways you can wear this purse. One ideal way is with the strap itself “slinged” or “sashed” sideways around your shoulder to the opposite hip. Or you can wear it across your shoulder using both ends of the strap.
This is my first attempt at a Skirt Purse. I had so much fun making this one. It’s a huge purse, too. I’m pretty sure it would double book bag.

This tote looks just like a ballerina’s tute – - elegant, ethereal, and sublime.
This tote is trimmed on the outside with tulle and a with brocade trim underneath – with pink felt underneath all of it.
It has an embellished exterior of tulle, brocade, fabric paint, glitter, stones and trim.
An interior padded base pad (removable) is included to provide support and shape.

Here is another attempt at the same kind of purse – except instead of using tulle, I used old fashioned lace. It isn’t at “froofy” – but I think I wanted it that way because the dancer in the picture is stretching – and not dancing or posing. A very “off” moment, but very cool, I think.
